I'm not going to complain about the rain because I know it can stop just as quick as it starts, but if I knew how to loan you 7 or 8 inches I surely would.

I have been really happy with it,the net isn't feeding but I just put a new roll on it and I know I'm not adjusting it right but they are sending someone out to see what's up with it but even my buddy just bought a new JD and is having the same issue. String it never misses a lick,I'm just spoiled from it only taking 5sec.for the net to wrap. Its a nice baler for the money...
As for rain send it my way,its looking bad around here.

Starting to get dry here too. I have about 40 acres of hay ready to cut. After that, there may not be any more.

Well we got close to 3 inches of rain since yesterday and its still raining. I might need a bigger tractor to cut if I ever get to cut it.

Sweet looking fleet foreman! Everyone is in the A/C, that's always nice.


I have all but given up on the last of my hay, the clover looks good but the gasses have gone to seed and turning brown. Showers every afternoon in the foreseeable future. I may just end up rotational grazing it, clip whats left high with the bush hog and hope for better weather second cutting.

I haven't got my first cut but I still got to Nov.. before I call it a bad season.. I haven't had any rain in a month,, May wasn't that good either,, less than 3 inches.. but the sun will come up tomorrow.. I hope the heck it is cloudy.. Lou

I had one kubota with the hay cutter and pulled the baler with the other,that's my brothers mahindra I borrowed.

Did you drive the Mahindra? If so how would you compare it to the Kubota?

It rides smooth(air ride seat),the power isn't as responsive as the 7040(even my brother said that also),the controls are really high and its hard to see the end of rake wheel for the plastic.
