2015 pto question

After much research, debate, etc. I decided to go w/ the 2015 over the Kubota 7510. I went w/ the HST with a FEL and a 5' ft. rear mount finish mower. I have just over 50 hours on the tractor and I am extremely happy so far. We live on 12 acres and I think definitely think that I bought the right size tractor for my needs.

One issue that I've been having though, when mowing (we have about 4.5 acres that I finish mow) the PTO keeps disengaging. It has gotten to the point that I have to keep a hand on the handle at all times so it doesn't pop out. Any thoughts on this? Is this something that I can repair or should I have the dealer come and get it? The dealer is only about 10 minutes away but if it's an easy fix I'd rather handle it myself.

There is an adjustable rod on the pto lever you can see it from the back of the machine.
Try to adjust that.

I had something similar happen to me. It didn't happen to me quite as frequently as yours. Wallace is right. Stand in back of the tractor and look for where the linkage rod for the PTO is (left side). Take out the cotter pin, and the linkage pin. Unscrew it about 1 or 2 turns, and replace the pins. That solved my problem.

Actually I have to correct my last post. I had to shorten the adjustment rod. (screw the clevis on the rod further on a turn or so, not back it off) Sorry about that!
