I take back my comment back, regarding manual cleaning of a DPF filter canister which is fully clogged with diesel particulates. Apparently, in Europe where all diesel cars and trucks come with a factory DPF, a very thriving business exists to do a "forced manual regen" on the DPF in a garage. The garage mechanic typically takes about 2 hours to remove the DPF canister, complete the forced regen and then reinstall the DPF. Typical charge is about $125. This is a lot cheaper than buying a new DPF, and certainly worth looking into.

I would think some diesel truck service centers, like those along interstates that service 18 wheelers here in US, may provide such a service on diesel trucks. A tractor DPF canister should be no more difficult to them.

I went to the Kioti dealer today and when they connected the computer to the tractor and cleared the codes, everything was fine...until.....
When the codes were cleared, the regen light started flashing. (park regen). The soot buildup was being listed at 200% and the tractor would never go into regen. It would idel high for a minute and then fail. With 140 hours on the tractor, I cannot see the unit being completely stopped up. It runs too good otherwise. So the dealer called Kioti and still no answer as to why it will not regen. There is 3 days left on the emission warranty so I sure hope its covered!

My tractor had this problem and it was a bad fuel injector. It was pumping 150% fuel out of #2 injector. The Regeneration process could not keep up with the plugged up DPF. They also had to pull the DPF and manually clean it out. It was totally clogged. You may need to have the dealer pull the DPF and check to see if it is in fact plugged up so bad that the Regen won't clear it. Mine was that bad. Tell your dealer to do a Run Up and Shut Down Test. This will show the amount of fuel that each fuel injector is squirting into the cylinders. One thing you can also do is pull the DPFE balance switch off the DPF. Leave the wires connected to it. This tells the ECU if the DPF is clogged. Then you can try running a regen cycle and hopefully it will make it thru the cycle. My guess from my own issue with my tractor is that your DPF is plugged solid. It took just under 4 months to get this fixed and (6) 80 mile round trips back and forth to the dealer. I had the use of my tractor for almost 3 hours during that period. The dealer was doing all he could do. He had to depend on Kioti for technical support because they had never seen this problem yet with a Kioti tractor at the dealership.

Though I have never had a problem with Kioti regen, or removed my DPF to see if the , a little research suggests the manual cleaning of a Plugged DPF is certainly possible. And its probably a full days work for a dealer or even a do it yourself job.....

Rather than commit to a new purchase immediately, perhaps getting the dealer to clean the existing DPF with industrial cleaners and a power washer. The goal is to remove enough of the carbon particulates, to allow the tractor emissions to perform a regen and make full system recovery. Attached is the link.

I read that the dealer is supposed to ship the DPF back to Kioti to have it cooked off to remove the buildup. Mine was not shipped back.
