Guys I have been towing way beyond max GCWR for almost 3 years. If anyone is “testing” these Ram/Cummins/Aisins in a rigorous way, it’s ME.
I haven’t seen any signs of upcoming failure and I’m at 30 months & 34,000 miles. Of course I can’t guarantee I won’t have a complete failure in the future, but I’ve never owned a small truck that could be asked to do what this one will do.
If you want a really SOLID heavy duty truck thats almost as comfortable as a luxury car inside, go with Ram.
Also note, I am NOT brand loyal. I am just stating my findings after actual use. If this truck becomes a problem, I will consider another Ford or GM.
