2019 ford ranger review....

I like those new Ranger's.....but not at the $52,000 they want for them here.

They are advertising them for $27900 here... 4wd, towing package, and I don't recall what else. A new truck isn't in the budget for this year but somewhere down the road the Ranger will be something I'm looking at. My brother on the other hand is truck shopping; when I suggested he look at Rangers he turned his nose up. "I had that 1984 Ranger..." Is it possible that they've changed in the last 35 years?

OH no! Sorry to see that I hope her insurance pays.
While I was stopped at a red light last week, in my wife's car, a lady behind us looking at her phone bumped me causing $1200 damage.

We got an estimate today which was about $2000. The door needs to be replaced. The HS gale who backed into it was pretty shook up, so we've been asking the folks how shes going. The below photo shows the damage. Ya, we got snow.

How does it handle in the snow?

Do you have 4wd for that snow?

Of course its 4wd. If not, we'd have to park over the winter with the numerous steep streets we have. Here, within the lake snow region, we don't see pavement for more than a month at a time. I can't say its 4wd is 10% better than all the other 4wd vehicle we've ever owned over the years. I will say we struggled to get the Tacoma in and out of low range.... lots! The ford shifting goes fine.
