We have a John Deere 4052R HST and even when we use it to blow the parking lot off in B range for half hour first, and then go down the road after in C range, it will not go over 10-13 mph and after 3 miles it will creep up to 18.5 or so mph after going down a hill a bit.
We leave it pluged in when not in use and weather has been -10C or -14F
Bought the tractor from dealer in early December 2024
When I talked to the dealer a few times and he said they went out to a newer tractor of the same model and he said it does the same thing.
When it first happed from the dealer when I drove it home. They sent a tech out the next day and the tech said to leave the (Auto Engine) botton on and (Auto RPM) button on when using it.
Which makes no sence, should be able to give 3/4 throttel and drive down the road. Had a 1025R and it was flawless HST this 4052R is peddle by wire so not sure if it is a saftey thing driven by temp of HST but it is a little much.
Anyone with the same problems?
