What I like about the new GM trucks, is they are just plain. They "look" like just a truck. The interior is blain, and nurtural. The radio is very basic and simple. None of the technical mumbo jumbo, like the RAM or Ford. Just a simple plain radio. And the radio sound system is very basic. Ford and RAM put speakers EVERYWHERE, where GM just puts a few. Why have so many speakers? The dash is also VERY basic, when compared to RAM and Ford. GM, realizes the "general" driver doesn't care about wiz bang dash. RAM and Ford, they went way overkill on the dash, just too much info and adjustment options.
This is in the high trim levels.
Then, we have the mechanicals. GM is NOT playing the power game. They are keeping the numbers realistic. Who NEEDS 1000# of torque? That is just insane. And GM keeps its tow ratings very low, that is good.
GM top level trim trucks are, well, very basic and simple when compared to Ford and RAM. Its kinda old school. Considering its mostly older men that buy large HD trucks, GM is the way to go. Its like owning an old simple flip phone. So, an older person can feel comfortable driving.
