2025r SCV valve suddenly stiff

2019 2025r. The SCV valve for the raise and lower function is suddenly very stiff. It loosens a little as it warms up, but is still stiffer than normal. The curl function has the normal resistance.

It feels like maybe an o-ring that has swelled or gotten out of a groove. I tried spraying with dry lube.

Looks like a lot of parts in there, should I attempt to open it up and try to diagnose, or leave it to the pros? Or just leave it as long as it keeps working?

Is the valve direct operated by joystick or via a cable? If cable they have been known to go bad. If exposed linkage between joystick and valve I would check for something binding.

Since direct mount joystick would point towards a problem in the centering spring and detent assembly located at the other end of the valve. Only other thing is if some foreign particle got caught between the spool and valve housing since the only O-rings are on each of the spool to keep oil from spilling on the ground.
