2032r to replace 1025r

The 3ph control on the 2025R and probably on the 2032 are pretty much exactly the same as on the 1025R. You get really good control of lift position.

The 2025 and probably the 2032 also have multiple positioning holes on the lift arm. I have to move the lift arm position when going to the bush hog, to get a decent lift height on it.

On thing on the 1025R that is better is the startup of the PTO. It's very gentle on the 1025R but is more jolting on the 2025R. The very severe jolting start on the 4010 is likely what caused failure of the donut joint in the driveshaft on it.

ovrszd... I think you should go trade then you can answer all my questions, then I will decide whether or not to trade...I would really appreciate it. I am very close to pulling the trigger, told him to hold it and I would let him know in a day or two, he has quoted me $1,000 less than anybody, 2032R, fel, 62" mmm for $22,500. As an fyi, anybody considering a 2032 as well, whats available now have no emissions, when these are gone the new ones will have emissions (assuming a dpf).

Is there still a hydraulic lift option for the mower deck on the 2032R?

I had a 2720 with a hydraulic lift for the mower deck. It had a height adjustment knob for the mower deck on the left fender.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I am considering a similar move. Could someone please explain to me what "emission" means in this context? How could a tractor not have any emissions? Is this some new environmental legislation coming through the pipeline?

"Emission Controls"

Think the 2032 is a tier 4 "emission control" tractor. My 2025 is not, because it is just below 25 hp. Only thing on it that appears to be different from what was on my 4010 is the 1,300 rpm idle speed vs. 1,000 for the 4010. (Haven't attempted yet to change the 2025's idle speed. On the 1025, it was near impossible, and it was a ridiculously high 1,650 rpm, and ROUGH.)

The 2032's on the lot now may say tier 4 but so will the 1025, doesn't mean it has emissions equipment, just means it meets tier 4 requirements. Yes it is suppose to be 25 hp and less but for some reason the 2032 he has does not have a dpf, I varified this myself on his lot. He also contacted me today and said because I waited, another $200 rebate came in....its making it real hard not to just go ahead and trade!
