20x10.00-10 Bar Tread

Been having trouble lately with a rear tire on a Ferris IS500Z mower. Slimed it but it still keeps going down. Never cared for the traction anyway. Anyone have a source for a bar or chevron type tread in 20X10.00-10? Haven't found much on Google yet.

I found a 20X10.00-8 NHS 4 Ply online. Not much at deciphering tire sizes. Will it go onto the rim currently sporting a 20x10.00-10? Here's what I'm looking at:

That won't fit.

The way to read the tire size is: Tire Diameter x Tire Width - Wheel Diameter.

You have 10" wheels, and the tires you listed are for an 8" wheel.

Here's a link to a place that has some 20x11-10 tires with a more aggressive tread. They are mostly 'knobby' type tires as opposed to tractor tread but should give you a lot better traction than standard turfs.

Being 1" wider should not pose a problem unless your tires have almost no clearance now.

If you aren't "set on" getting a bar lug tread tire, that Carlisle Multi Trac C/S tire looks like it would be good for traction and comes in the 20x10.0-10 size.

Not really "set" on the bar tread. Just heard good things about them on the forum. I haven't found them in the correct size yet anyway. I like OB's idea about an ATV/UTV tire but I think there will be clearance issues with a 20x11.
I don't see enough of a difference in tread pattern between the Carlisle Multi Trac C/S and the Carlisle Turf Masters that I currently have to warrant spending the money. This morning a search turned up these Carlisles that I ordered up:

Well, the Carlisle ALL TRAIL II's are mounted and on the Ferris. Now all that remains is for the grass to dry enough to give them a try.

They have good traction, but I hope you don't have to drive across any gravel. I have the same tread on our Ranger EV and it picks up gravel like a magnet picks up steel.


I am looking at some Interco InterForce ATV R1tires to use on it.
