Hey guys I was getting ready to put togeather a bagging system for my 2210 when my dealer told me that JD is going to come out with one in May. Has anyone heard about this?

Do you have any other info yet? I was considering getting a Trac-Vac or Cylcone Rake this summer, but this would be much more appealing to me.

My 2305 gets delivered this Saturday (pictures to follow) and my dealer said the MCS is right on target for May delivery. It will run about $2,500. He was checking the JD Dealer web site and his regional guy and will update me tomorrow. If I hear anything new I'll post

Nice set up you have there. Could you tell me where you picked it up at and general price. Did you need to make modification to make it work with your equipment?

I bought my Trac Vac used, it was only 6 months and I paid $600.00 for it. The only thing I had to buy was a 62c mower deck boot, which cost me another $124.00. The former owner used it on a Kubota BX. Didn’t have to do any modifications for my 2210 at all, it went right on. This unit chops up what ever you’re vacuuming so fine, I figure I vacuum around a cart load of heavy leaves per acre and it never gets clogged. My father – in - law is running a JD power flow on he’s 2210 and this has twice the power of he’s unit. The price new on this system is $2500.00 with the cart. It takes me 10 minutes if that to hookup and go. Also you don’t have to worry about a gas pony motor for the blower or a blower running off your deck like the power flow.

A three bag system using the power flow from the deck is now available and list for $1,189.

Does that include the powerflow blower that runs off the deck?

Answered my own question - nope it doesn't. It's an additional $441 regardless of 54" or 62" deck.

HSwan, I had a 445 with the 54"mmm and a Powerflow head with the MC519 collection cart. I used this setup at our previous home where we had a lot of mature trees. It worked wonderfully. I have since upgraded to a 2210 with the 62c mmm and I purchased another MC519 cart and PowerFlow head from the X-series. I then made a 3pt hitch to adapt the cart to the I-match. I can now carry the cart behind me or let it ride on its casters. When I go to dump the clippings, I can raise the cart ~40" off the ground and dump them on top of existing piles. I think the advantage of the MC519 type cart is that it casters behind the tractor so you don't have to worry about jack knifing a trailored collection system. I'm sure the other systems with the pony motors have a lot of power, but I've never had a problem with the PowerFlow head and MC519 cart. It works well and you don't have the additional noise of a pony motor and fan.
