2305 Bucket Question:

Mine was for the X585 47" bucket and it was $150+$60 shipping about 1 year ago. I use it now on the 2210 bucket and added some shims to the sides.

Thanks for the pricing on the toothbar. I called my dealer this morning and asked them to check on the cruise control. According to Deere, they do not have a release date on the cruise control nor any pricing on installation.

On my 3320 it was $86 - $100 installed for teh auto cruise upgrade. Well worth it for the HST IMO - especially when you have bumpy or rough terrain. You foot will bounce increasing and decreasing you speed without it - really noticable with a full bucket.

Talked to my dealer again today...his best guess is the beginning of Dec. for the CC. He won't guestimate on the price though. Also, Markham misquoted my shipping...it's actually $35 for the tooth bar from NC to NJ. The $202 for the 53" bar is correct.

After putting 18 hours on my 2305, I don't think I will purchase cruise control. I've mowed my way overgrown 5 acres 3 times. I had to go slow in low range on some of it mainly because it is rough. I'm not having a problem holding the pedal steady either mowing or using the loader. I find that I vary the speed enough that I don't think I would use cruise.
I suggest to anyone with a new tractor to try it first without cruise control to see if it's needed.

I agree. The only time I've wished for cruise is when I need to travel a long distance on roads at full speed (sometimes I drive my 2210 to our church which is about a mile away) and then the full position is uncomfortable for that period of time. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
