The 2520 does have a longer frame, to accomodate
a 72" mid mower, but that won't really help
in your application. The 2320 and 2520 use the
same backhoe, which is a great little hoe!
I don't see much that a 2520 will do that
the 2320 won't do for what you want to do.
If you need more machine, then you probably should
step up to the 3020, but that could be overkill
for your needs.

As far as 2320 vs 2305, yes,, large differences.
not only clearance, tire size, backhoe performance,
but also dual brakes, folding rops, separate seat for
the backhoe, (that twisting one on the 2305 is very
clumsy) and more hydraulic power where it counts.

don't skimp on the loaders, that 200CX is worth it in
the long run, even if you don't intend to remove it
at this point.

My local dealer states that the 2305 TLB package includes the tractor, loader and backhoe, hence the "TLB" package. Package list is $16,333. This is in direct competition with the Kubota BX24 that sells for approx. $15,000.

Hey fellows: Just a quick update to let you know I ordered my 2305 today and should have it by next Wednesday afternoon according to the dealer. He just got one in and needs to prep it and then deliver.

I'm wondering if we are experiencing some confusion between 2305 TLB pricing using the JD Configurator and actual selling prices. Based on my interpretation of the Configurator a 2305 TLB (FEL priced separately) starts at just a shade over $18,000 - representing MSRP - not final selling price.

One JD store that advertises regularly on the Internet has 2305 TLB for $16,1999 - a discount of roughly 10%.

For the previous figures I presented we should subtract the 54c MMM from the total figure.

$17,118.79
-$1,300.00 (54c mmm)
= $15,818.79 (tax included in this price!)

Virginia sales tax is approx. 5%.

so the figures are before tax are approx.

$16,303 (total package from previous post)
$15,065 (total minus 54c mmm from previous post)



FYI. I wish I would have waited an extra two months on my 2305 purchase and bought the TLB package!

I checked Mutton site and they have (which appears to be a new) 2520 FEL BH for $21,399. Seems like a good price, too bad I too far from Fort Wayne, Indiana (located around 45-50 miles from Phila, PA)...
