I just wanted to share with others that might be worried about mowing with a 2305. I am a beginner to all of this and I have a 2305. I have never mowed anything but grass and that was with the belly mower. I was concerned that a 3 point mower would simply be too large for the little machine. I ended up purchasing a Frontier 2048 which looked huge and after much trepidation I gave it a try. It turns out that the 2305 handles the mower with no problems. I am still learning but after about 8 hours mowing I have no complaints.

How hilly is the area you're mowing? Any particular reason you went to a RFM and gave up width over the 54/62 decks?
An RC2048 is a rotary mower for cutting things heavier than grass. I purchased it because I did not want to damage my belly mower. I am cutting small scrub oak and other brush like things. I am not cutting on anything steep but it is not flat either. I would not be qualified to be cutting on real slopes.

Hills are a major issue when running rear mowers. you should make sure your front wheels don't "feel light" or "come off the ground" when going up hills, hitting bumps, and tight turns. if you have hills, you should consider front weights. your tractor should have a bracket for them and they just drop in.
I have hills and bumpy Fields to mow. Using a 4720cab and a 72' RC, I like having the front weights. RC tend to be heaver than RFM too.
