Very interesting! Anyway, assuming you have 4 ports - I'd guess the black & yellow are the same. Plug in the blue & red any way you want - if it's backwards, reverse them. Let us know what color arrangement finally works.
Yes, you do have to disconnect the independent lift no matter what color they are, unless you buy the "diverter valve" kit.
