/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Service manager from dealer called around 9 this morning. Brackets arrived. He asked if I wanted them delivered. They were at my door by 1 today. We made the exchange. I started on the install around 2:30. Unit was up and running at 6:00.
Install went pretty well. I have pictures but no time to download now. There were a few fasteners missing. I called Woods and let them know. They have a nice packaging system with a parts list, fasteners in zip lock bags with corresponding number and quantity. The thing is, there were 5 bags that the quantity didn't match the parts list. The correct quantity was on the bag, but it doesn't match the list /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Good thing for me I have a good supply on hand. There were a few special metric fasteners missing, but I had them all. Woods tech support said they would send all the missing parts right out.
The only other problem is with the linkage for the mid mount mower lift. The left main bracket has a passage in it for the linkage to go through. I had to remove the linkage, install the bracket, add a lower support from that bracket to the differential, then reinstall the linkage. The linkage hits the lower support and will not quite align properly to reattach to the lift mechanism. It can be modified to work, but I talked to a Woods tech and engineer. They are going to work on a solution. I'm sure I can take it apart and find a way to fix it, but I'll wait to see if they can come up with something first. Looks like I won't need the mower for a while /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I like the new seat bracket. It is very heavy duty. Also included is a remount for the smv sign. It is a quick slide in piece so the sign can be quickly removed from the rops and attached to the backhoe arm. The seat is now higher than before. I'm not sure if the comfort will be the same. I won't know until I get some seat time. The new bracket lifts up a few inches then swivels. That places the seat well back from the rops when in the rear facing position. When it's turned forward and lowered back down, there is a locking tab to keep it aligned straight forward.
Upon completion, started tractor, backed up to hoe, plugged in hoses and away it went. No problems.
Can't wait to try it.
I had the last half of the concrete floor poured Monday in my building so I can't get the tractor out yet. It will be Monday before I can get out. Ground is frozen anyhow. My wife asked what I was going to dig. I said, whatever I can.
