Buying Advice 2320 price what do you think?

Wouldn't really give a reason, but thought his numbers were good.

I guess the reason is he doesn't want to make a sale.

Give Mutton a call, more than likely you will get it for much cheaper and what you save on sales taxes will more than pay for the shipping.

It really is a small world! Made a deal with Shane at Mutton's for my new 5075M! Good folk's and very much willing to deal!

look at dealers in indiana - probably find a much better deal for a new one there - I bought my 2320 with FEL, 54" deck and 54" blade for about $18,000

I"m a deere fan, and have looked hard at the 2520. I like it as a lawn mower and general purpose tool. But, I'm not color blind. And the JD 2x20 series are not robust diggers.

There are actually better tractors for less money in other colors, like the Kioti CKs or Bobcat CTs. These will outdig the JD 2x20 series across the board by a long shot. Why someone is willing to spend $5000+ more for less tractor baffles me. Wow! $25K for a 2320 TLB. Unbelievably expensive.

Guys- I will start by saying I went from the first post to commenting on that question. I purchased a new 2320 in November of 2010. I "upgraded" from a 2210 that I had owned from new in 2005. I wanted better loader capabilities and more power and machine. I felt the 2320 was the machine. Don't misunderstand me the 2320 is a great tractor. It however, is NOT the 2520.

I realized this after only 12.2 hours. It seemed like my 2210 was more powerful. The extra weight and only 1 extra HP did not do it. When under load it would bog down. At least the 2210 would spin the wheels so you could work the machine. Also I found the power steering to bind up at low speed and lower RPM's. The high range as mentioned by many others on this site is absolutly way to high. It takes full RPM to use it on even the slightest grade. The other interesting part is the hood is actually about 6 inches higher than the 2520 as well as narrower. Makes it just alittle more top heavy than the 2520.

Bottom line is if you are using the 2320 to mow ONLY in low range and light to medium loader work this is a great machine. It just was not a big enough change for my needs.

I was able to trade and upgrade to the 2520 for very little cost. I would advise anyone to take the 2520 even if you don't want to spend the 2-3k. You will be happy you did. I have owned both!!
