one of the best pieces of advice i got (though, i know you're not looking for this . . . is absolutely, get the loader valve on the bx2360.
i have found great utility in my bx2360 w/243 fel . . . i doubt you'll regret it.
with the loader valve, you can add the fel at purchase time or later . . . it's a sizeable bullet to bite . . . but a worthwhile one.

regards, shrekbelly

For now I passed on the deal. At this point I'm fairly miserable with my decision but I just couldn't do it today. Lets see if the 0% continues, if so, we will see. I want to tank everyone for your advice, I learned a lot.

If you haven't done so already, call Barlow Equipment and get a price from them. You still may not want to put out the money, but at least you can be assured you got the best price knowing that the dealer is not gouging you.

Odd as it may seem they were $700 higher on the package my local dealer offered. I was surprised.

Hmm, that is odd. Perhaps the delivery charge is the difference - depending on where you live. Also - make sure that the local dealer is including "everything" and doesn't throw in some unexpected charge or fee at the last minute. Like they forgot the "bucket" or "valve" etc. That happened to me one time..........

Anyhow - if all that lines up sounds like the local dealer has offered you an excellent price !

The $10700 is a really good price especially if it is a late 2009 or early 2010. If it is an older unit (probably is at the price), that is the reason for the price difference because they were significantly cheaper a year or two back.

I'm not sure what year it is. It's still on a metal pallet looking create. Brady I will call you on Monday or Tuesday to try to work something out. I was dealing with Steve while you were gone.
I want a unit with factory installed hydo hook ups, turf tires, 60 inch deck, FEL. Get me your bottom price, I'm ready to move forward with purchase. Send me a PM if you get this soon.

1*I"m still somewhat confused because I also have a charge for the hydo hook up on the FEL itself, looks like that would be included in the $2,700 for the loader.
2* I just noticed that folks seem to have picked up the loader for around $2,200 to $2,400, kinda made $2,700 seem high.
3*he was the best deal however.
4*I was shocked about the insurance stuff Kubota requires you to carry, would be around $20 additional dollars a month.
5*My homeowners at State Farm dosent meet the "flood" requirements. Heck it cant flood on my property, not happy about that.
Honestly the insurance game they are playing may take me out of the game.

1*The hydro hook up and the feel are 2 different things so 2 different prices.

A-The hydo hook up is the gadget with the joy stick at the top.
B-I paid one price for it and another price for the front blade .

2*But what did they pay for the rest and what was the total for everything?
3*So taking his 300 less for the package than the other guy brings downyour dealers FEL to 2400 bucks .
4*20 a month ain't bad for insurance.
5*I Think it's illegal for Kubota to refuse your State Farm Coverage by requiring/demanding coverage for a non existing perial .

1*I just cant store it right now. You make a great point. i had not thought about that.

I store my FEL right here right on the tractor .
Baring that in your case I'de build a Crate or Box just big enough to hold the FEL and store it in there.
I built an 8 foot long by 4 foot wide box that was 4 feet high and used a 4x8 foot plywood sheet for the lid when I bought my new 1966 Bolens 850 tractor.
Stored the Bolens in it for several years.
The box is long gone but i still have the tractor.

If you get the FEL now, you wont have to worry about getting one later when they are harder to find.
or cost more.

You MIGHT do better by contacting your agent and asking for a rider or inland marine type policy. My basic homeowners would pass muster either, but with the rider, it was all good. I did save a little, but there are advantages to Kubota Insurance that no independent policy can really match. There is a kind of built in damage repair feature, protection of the little cooling fan, coverage for accidents and things that the average homeowner's rider just isn't equipped to match. It's your call.
I would not let a good deal go for 20 dollars a month.

Anyhow - if all that lines up sounds like the local dealer has offered you an excellent price !
Dave
I think he made a mistake by walking away from the deal .

Thanks for all your thought. The dealer still has the unit, 0% still applies, I'm still in the game. Hard to let the money go in these times, i just want to make sure I'm getting the best possible deal, it sounds like I may have.
