24T pickup issues

From what I read, rotary rakes are the hot setup in that part of the country where humidity is high and showers arrive every 3 or 4 days during the hay harvest.

My neighbor has a high $$$$$$$$$ Krone rotary rake that has about 10 lawnmower type tires to go flat,more moving parts to break than I'd care to replace and transport height of about 15 ft. It makes windrow shaped like a Teepee and I wouldn't care to try to rd bale behind it. He rd bales behind it and his bales resemble a whiskey barrel. Plus my H&S Hi-cap rake makes a better windrow and leaves less hay on the ground. This is in Coastal Bermuda.

I've got about a $1,000 in my 10 ft. Kuhn rotary rake - it's got 2 tires... It's wet here! And if your windrows ain't fluffy -- they're stuffy -- and we all know what you get with stuffy hay!!

I merge a couple of swaths into a windrow and it fits the pickup on the JD 336 baler like an old shoe -- it's a thing of beauty!

The Krone rake I'm referring to rakes about 30 ft into one or two windrows which ever operator desires. The teepee type windrow may be caused from Krone rake not being adjusted correctly.
