2520" New promotion from John deere" $2,500 off now !!!

I had ordered the 2520, and two implements, back in March and received the $1,000.00 incentive. Still waiting for delivery and was advised that they will apply the new $2,500. incentive when it's set to deliver.

Very good news! Kudos to Deere and Co. for doing the right thing for their customers and showing full-well what they're about!

Congratulations on your new tractor! Very much looking forward to seeing pictures of it and the new goodies that come with it! :thumbsup:

I just read all this and I don't get it! Last summer I bought my wife a new X brand mini van and I waited till the last day of the month to make the purchase and hopefully get the best deal. The next day the program changed and got better, by 1k. So its brand X's fault I didn't get the extra grand? NO its mine I chose when to make my purchase if they had went down a grand I sure would not have run in the next day and wrote them a check back so why would I expect them to do the same?

Well just to start the wrappup on this thread. I called deere and was refered time and time again to my dealer fully knowing that the dealer was not at fualt and not expecting the dealer to take action. The dealer however did. He made multiple phonecalls and emails on my behalf to no avail but just the fact that he put in some work made me appreciate him that much more. On top of that he said next time I come in he will give me a rock bottom deal on anything I buy.

I did my complaining and am now over it but actually got a larger appreciation for my dealer in the process. The dealer is the one thing that will keep me john deere faithful not john deere itself.

That is why we email Deere and not our dealer..Glad you got some satisfaction out of it..Sounds like a very good dealer..Mine would do the same for me, but I am not going to put them to the task..It is not their fault.

I am still having a good time with it, my guess is down the road Deere will send us all letters..

I received a reply from Josh ALSO but he never mentioned the DEALER. I sure would like you to send me a copy of your e-mail so I could show my dealer. I sure hope you did not embellish the reply You received from Josh at JD. My reply was basically the same as TNT'S earlier post.

does anybody need a buy back program...really??? If you do maybe a cub cadet is a wise choice for you. Tell me how happy with your decision to buy one is...especially in 10 years when its worth squat.

I bought a 2520 in 2009. I want my 2500 rebate!! how do you think that email would go?? if one guy gets a rebate backdated shouldn't we all!!!?????? ha ha ha good luck

Come on guys, they have to set a line and go with it, deals are always changing.

I would be embarassed to bring up that my buddy has a new combine, that is his business.

But maybe my thinking is the difference between the midwest and other parts of the country...???

and if you are comparing this deal to you buying a 2520 in 2009 , you are just stupid or maybe you just don't get it in other parts of the country.

obviously i was stretching it comparing to a 2009 purchase. But where are they going to draw a line on who to credit, and who not to?? People are gonna be mad no matter what date they pick. i'd be dissappointed if i missed out too...

I get exactly what you are getting at, but i find it hard to not agree with john deere's decision.

Business is business....

o and maybe next month it will be a $3500 rebate, so careful what you ask for now! :laughing:
