And here I thought that reason was the quality and longetivity of the product, with the resulting long term lowered cost of ownership and higher resale making it a worthwhile value. Huh, silly me.
Just on johndeere.com and was checking out new promos and came across new promo for the 2520 starting today April 1st through May 31 $2500 off w/ 2 implements. I just called my dealer to let him know about this. He's checking now to see what he can do for me. My new 2520 Tractors due to be delivered Monday 4/4

John deere doesn't need a buy back program, that is cub cadets way of getting people to buy theres instead of a green one. I still would not consider it, i'm sure in a year or two they will be bought out again or switch whos tractor they label as their own.
10 years from now see which of the deere or cub is worth decent money....
O and better give yourself a huge pat on the back for coming up with that idea, i'm guessing you won't get many more...
Hey RaisedOnDeere,
Look what you started! Just kidding. Thanks again for trying to help everyone out by mentioning this. I'm one of them. I unknowingly ordered my 2520 a day before the $2500 promotion started but was fortunate enough to qualify since I hadn't yet taken delivery. It's an amazing machine that I hope to still own in 20 years, long after this promotion has been forgotten.
LOL ensoll,
I see you got your tractor dirty already.. I never in a million years thought my news would create such controversy...
You & I procrastinated just long enough to score the deal.. Came right down to the wire though..
I have been spending a lot of time on your website ensoll trying to talk myself into a set of those pallet forks and all the great things I could move with them.. Are you powder coating them now?
I just bought 2 shirts last weekend from Sears. I paid 49.99 each for them. I saw in this morning's paper they are on sale for 32.99 each this weekend from Friday through Saturday. I wouldn't even think about going to Sears and asking for the difference in price. Same applies to the JD promotion.
Too bad.. ..Often the will still give refund. So will Wal-mart...
Yes, they do this because they know you could simply return the shirts & then go buy them again. It's quicker, therefore cheaper, for them to just refund you the money. Transaction done. Customer happy.
