2520" New promotion from John deere" $2,500 off now !!!

I put money down on a 2520 in back in february, at that time deere's promotion was 1,000 rebate when getting 2 implements, as every one knows that was to end on may 2nd. They increased the rebate to 2500.00, on april 1st and extended it to may 31st. I signed the paper work and took delivery on march 19th, as every one knows for the people who got the tractor before the 1st of april that we couldn't get the additional 1500.00. There were alot of unhappy people. There was much debate on here and some conflict between some of us. I spoke to my dealer his district rep and wrote a letter to deere stateing how I and alot of others were angry at the mere fact that the rebate was changed in the middle of the original promotion offer, also stateing if they had raised it after may 2nd then most of the people would have accepted that, I know I would have. Two weeks ago my dealer called me and said that they were being rebated back 1500.00 and once they received it then they would send me a check. Today it came, cashed and in my checking account. I know some will think I'm wrong on my way of thinking, but as far as I'm concerned that's for me to decide.

I'm glad JD realized there mistake changing the rebate amount midway through the current offer and ponyed up the dough... I truly believe they have a customer for life now with you..
