Anyone else have these lug nuts keep loosening ....I use this tractor slow and easy and on the rear 'left side only' ..I have to constantly tighten them

Sorry, but I haven't had to tighten mine in 8 years.

Have you removed the wheel to see if there is something between the hub and where the wheel marries up? Might be causing your problem. Do you have Ag tires or the industrial tires?

Try putting some Lock-tite on the lugs and nuts.

AG tires....Checked and tightened all with some blue locktite .....that one nut and the opposing one still loosened up after a couple hours grappling firewood. .....puzzling

Obviously, something is causing them to loosen. Check the threads in the nuts and the lugs. Maybe they're damaged, or stripped or something like that. If the issue(s) are limited to just those specific lugs & nuts, then I'd focus there. If random lug nuts loosen that would likely be different problem.
Tough to say exactly what's wrong, but I'd eliminate thread issues before moving on to other potential problems.

Thanks duffer for the reply.. It is ponderous! [threads and all look fine] I today brushed and cleaned the 'B Jesus' out of em again with brake cleaner.. waited a bit..'rag cleaned' and then used the 'red locktight'.....fingers crossed for the next run.. tomorrow or next.

Beg, borrow rent or steal a torque wrench suitable for those lugnuts, tighten them, torque them and then drive it around a couple hours. Re-check the torque and see if any have loosened.

I wonder if these lug nut retainers would help:
Or maybe the alltiresupply people could recommend something.

I tightened the lug nuts on my 2638 about 80 hours into owning it with a 4' cheater bar and have yet to find one loose 4 years and 700 hours later.

At around 100 hours - loosen - apply Blue LokTite - re-torque. Nothing had loosened in the 100 hours. There was a rash of folks with loose lug nuts here on TBN. It just made me feel better and knowing they were all held down with LokTite.

Strange - Blue would not hold but Red did. I wonder if there is some type of imbalance on that wheel.
