My dk 45 is great had no issues thus far , however I have read problems with injector pump is normally the weak spot , ignition switches are also a problem but if I accidentally leave it in the rain the next day I hose it sown with wd 40 to drive out moisture before a problem, no problems so far , I know you asked about ck 35s but I thought I'd throw this info in as well .

personally, I think this model of tractor, in all names and colors is one of the best built tractors you can buy.
They for sure are one of the toughest with the best features in the price point

I am partial, with good reason.

I love tractors, and whenever I get a chance to stop and look at them I do,
It amazes me in some of the details Daedong got so right and how most of the manufacturers have not came close to catching up

You convinced me, I'm partial too. I love my tractor, I try to think up things to do on it, I'm sure I'm not alone in that department.I look at the other to brands and I'm like you, for what you get for the money they don't come close.

The injection pump issue only effects 2005-2008 models as far as I can determine, and only a very small percentage of those. The theory is that a lot of bad parts (IP gears with improper hardening) got installed in some of these pumps. It's a rare problem but still a big deal if it happens to you because a new IP costs about $1K, plus labor.

The ignition switch can get fouled by dirt and water such that the contacts become intermittent. The switch is relatively cheap (like $50) and easy to replace, once you have identified the problem. The switch can also be carefully disassembled, cleaned, lubed, and reassembled (that's what I did). But be careful; it's easy to lose spring-loaded parts or reassemble parts in the wrong orientation.

I do think owner-to-owner support (especially on TBN) is stronger for Kioti (and other re-branded Daedong tractors) than other brands. There are a lot of experienced and smart Kioti owners here.

I have a DK 35, bought it in 2005. I have had no mechanical problems per se, just minor finish quirks now and then, once the ignition wouldn't shut off, wd-40 and not a problem since. Slow FEL and shuttle, trans oil and filter change cured that.

Everything that is bad as far as cosmetics, is all operator caused, I use my tractor like a tool, that is why I bought it. It sleeps outside and doesn't seem to mind, bad weather and it gets a "cover", but other than that it is my everything tool on the little 15 acres I have now.

Ck-25 HST purchased in 2004 or 2005. Only have 400+ hours, but have had only two problems in that time. The first was the 130 loader issue that actually wasn't a problem for me. I have the Kioti installed fix and totally happy with it. The other is the ignition switch has gunked up on me twice. I took it apart and cleaned it up each time and that cured it. I love the tractor.

I have a 2010 CK30 gear that i purchased fall 2009. Closing in on 400hrs, i can say i had 2 minor issues on the tractor; 1 front crankshaft oil seal leaked, 2 a faulty hydraulic relief valve, didn't notice until i had the BH installed. This tractor has been used for everything you can possibly think of. This is my 2nd kioti tractor and not the last. As for the rest, normal maintenance and care.
