In the us, that's what the tractor manual calls for. I will have to measure the battery and the tray and see what fits, I'm not at the tractor at the moment. I was hoping someone would know what would fit off-hand.Welcome to TBN.
Where are you located? NZ? It might help.
N70Z is an older battery size for lands down under, N70 would also work as it is a bit smaller than N70Z, or measure the battery that you have and use a BCI chart to find one close.
Here is a pretty long one, but I often find it more useful to use one from your local battery distributor/reseller.
All the best, Peter
N70Z is equal to Battery Group 27. Now for the terminal type on top or sizes and the sizes, then the suffix letters are important to match.I'm trying to find a battery that would fit a 276d, as N70Z batteries aren't commonly available.

I have always looked for the battery to have more CCA then the original equipment one had. Why would having a low output generator instead of a higher output alternator make a difference in the size of the battery chosen. The Farmall 560 originally had a small generator on it I'm thinking it was a 16 amp output and we always used the best CCA battery we could, it would just take a bit longer to fully charge the larger battery IF it gets discharged more then a smaller one would have. The Org. Alt. for a 276 is a Dyno so Tech not a true Alternator. Alternator - AL-1215 - Fredricks Equipment Parts
If you still using a Dyno it's only putting out 15 amp.. I look into that and then make a battery size choice.
