Over the years I've learned the hard way a few too many times that someone will always find a way to do something cheaper, but it rarely translates into doing it better. Unfortunately often in ends up that cheaper is more expensive in the long run, especially when time is factored in.
I have too little time to spare. Personally, I'd rather pay a little more and end up with piece of mind. And piece of mind usually means that when I buy something it does not break. At $299 each, I supposed you could buy an extra for spares, but how much time will that cost you to swap the parts? And how much aggrivation?
Me, I'd rather buy good to begin with, and good is subjective, but it starts with a manufacturer who stands behind his products, services them, and has a reputation for desiging them well in the first place. I am sorry to say, but the quality of Homier's goods has been degraded by too many people on this site for me to even consider buying their stuff. Even if money was the ONLY concern, I would still question their stuff simply because I would worry about the cost over the next few years in replacement parts, time lost, productivity lost, etc.
