Got the bed on today. 9'4" bed, 2 top toolboxes, 1 underbed box and spare tire holder for about $5400. I had the fuel tank already, and they mounted it for me.

It's hooked to my gooseneck with the tractor loaded for a 300 mile trip in the morning. It's got 120 miles on it and I've got it loaded and ready to work.

Wow that is a beautiful truck/bed combo. A slightly bigger chrome exhaust tip would look very nice as a finishing touch IMO!

Be advised, my F250 manual say not to tow for the first 1000 miles! I could not believe it. I will have to ignore that restriction but will be as kind to it as possible.

Good looking bed, it will be very useful with the tool boxes and fuel tank. Any pictures hooked up to the trailer?

I'm going to ignore this post.....

Sorry, it was dark by the time I got it all loaded up, and I hit the road before sunrise, so no pics with it loaded yet. I'll get some later.

So, the first long trip is done. With the trailer loaded with my tractor and tiller, 275 miles at about 70 mph on I-49, it got 7.8 mpg. On the trip home, pulling the empty trailer, at about 75 mph, it got 10.2 mpg. I sure do like the 52 gal fuel tank.

I'm pretty sure pulling with the Cummins right off is fine.

That is a nice looking truck, a friend of mine just bought one about like it except his has a flatbed made by Gooseneck, he was disappointed with the fuel mileage while towing because a few big bullscraper's where we work talk like their trucks make fuel, he also gets about what you got, maybe a hair better, but I believe he was towing a bit lighter than you.

Have you weighed it? Would be interesting to know the empty truck weight and loaded weight.
