I don't believe there is a FEL "return" line on my little JD. The FEL has 4 quick connects. Two serve the bucket and two serve the boom. Each carries high pressure fluid out and returns low pressure fluid depending on which end of the bucket/boom cylinders is being activated. All 4 lines originate at the SCV. Tapping into one of those lines would not work well as a fluid source for the splitter.

On the other hand, PB fluid is perfect for the splitter. Perhaps, Centell's Kubota has a return line like your 5300 (?). If not, Power Beyond will work great.

This is where the vocabulary gets tricky:

Powerbeyond and return are sometimes used interchangebly, Each open center valve has a powerbeyond port or return that eventually ends up (once it has traveled thru all the other valves in the series) to the tractor resevoir.

In the compact tractor world, we refer to the PowerBeyond as only outputing fluid at the rear of the tractor for a backhoe. When really it is just the last powerbeyond in the series (FEL. Three point hitch, rear remotes (where applicable))

I believe that the return line that Randall speaks of is the powerbeyond from the FEL valve to the tractor not between the loader & the valve. In my case this is a fixed steel pipe, not a hose.
