3 pt sprayer

   / 3 pt sprayer #21
chucko,
I don't think I've used the same set-up twice since I purchased my sprayer. Most of the chemicals have instructions that will have you time your tractor for a given distance at the same speed you will be doing the work area. This allows you to know the amount of pressure needed to get the proper amount of spray. The wind plays the most factor because I will lower the 3pt to about 12" to not wear any spray. But obviously this narrows the pattern because the two outer nozzles are down so far.

Also, my land is extremely bumpy after mid summer when all the clay is dried up. This tends to make me drive alittle slower so the front end isn't hopping around. I usually take the FEL off so I can see better. With the sprayer full (60gal), it's not bad on the front end. Just have to watch the brakes when backing up.

I'm going to post some pictures later of the new snow blower. I can take some shots of the plumbing for you to compare with your plans. The instruction manual may have some stuff to scan also, if your interested.

Have a fun project, Mike
