It's obvious after reading 57 posts on this string, despite what experienced owners have reported - you willl never be happy with JD FEL operation.

Move on - if the Kubota is so wonderful - buy it.

OUCH, that is sure to the point:eek:

But I must agree:D

Hey guys: No need to get nasty. I have owned several kubota's and just sold the last on. I demo'e a new cab l3540kubota for a week...would not have it for 50 cents. However, like Messick Farm and Jomo 45 said, this does not dismiss the fact that jd refuses to address.

I will still end up buying a green cab tractor in the next week or two, but and dissappointed in the loader op. There is no reason in this day and age of equipment that these cut tractor loaders should not perform better or for that matter out perform their competition. And for JD customer support to not admit they have an issue is inexcusible.

I am very familiar with the loader control lock//We tried several tractors and moved this lock into all 3 positioins. THe 1st setting locked the joystick fully//no movement. the 2nd went to normal 12,3,6,9 functions. the 3rd didn't make much difference from the 2nd. The loaders still wouldn't blend. Only a few would move together, and then only at a snail's pace. And yes we had the engines revved up///at 2000+ and 2500 rpms, pto speed....no change.
Is it possible that these loader control valves are bad???or misadjusted?/Remember, I have demoed 3 and run 20+ at these va dealers. None blend at real time speed:mad:

Hmmm, that is strange, real strange. i am gonn check with a MD dealer service shop i know and see what is going on. The loader is rated to travel up or down in ~3seconds from ground to high max, and from high max to ground, I dumped a load early inbetween the loader going from about 1q foot off the ground, and before it finished rising, so it had to be a very slight decrease in speed bause i could not catch it and ended up rfeloading about 10 feet from where I wanted to dump it:eek:

pbt_sisson, are you seeing it slow to a crawl even at 2k and above revs? If so that is kinda weird from my perspective

Yes Nuru: We see these loaders crawl when blending, even at full throttle pto speed////2500rpms+ They only want to perform 1 function at a time.

This problem is so frustrating. On a modern day tractor 2 functions at once through the loader valve should be a norm, but not on these cuts. I just can't get jd to address this problem. And I don't understand how other machines such as yours you say works fine. I'm tempted to drive to Md or where ever you live to see for myself.

Or if you have a dealer with a unit that blends fine at real time speed, let me know and i'll give that dealer my business...I really have to replace my older units and it will be a 3720 cab unit, but I wish I could resolve the loader problem before ordering or buying.

pbt_sisson; Try the folks at Greenline in VA, as I think that is closer to you. I spoke to them this week and they indicated that their units were working fine. If you have been there before, talk to Glenn, as he has a lot of experience with tractors and a large working farm, so he definitely knows tractors prettey well. Or you can try the guys at 128 Supply in MASS, as they indicate the same thing about the capability. It sounds like your fast, might be faster than what everyone else is saying/seeing, but I don't think anyone is seeing it slow to a crawl, that would be very noticeable. Or maybe some of us got lucky:rolleyes:.

Hey your standards are fine and make'em show you what you want to see before you put your money down.

But anyway as I said before, don't let it get you frustrated, hopefully one feature underperforming to your expectations won't sour you on an entire brand. Good Luck.

Yes you are correct! I knew i should have looked up the title instead of relying on my memory and just calling them with the number I have had for a few years! LOL!
