It would be my guess that the 790`s have been larger in past? And that the later models of the 790 including the 3005 are growing smaller in size??

The 790's predecessors, the 670 and 770, shared much of the drive train and sheet metal but had less engine/PTO horsepower as well as smaller tires.
The 3005 looks pretty good...but since I'm quite satisfied with my 790 (which will soon be paid off), there's no advantage to buying a newer machine.

....................................................................RobS said:Two things there... Low camera angle makes anything look bigger plus I have the ROPS extensions to give me head clearance on the backhoe. A minor thing but it does really change the scale of the 790 for some reason.
