If you're worried about the electronics on a tractor don't buy a car made in the last ten years, they are heavily controlled with electronics, mini-computers and microcontrollers.
The Hydro is nothing less than a joy to use and the 3320 loader has more capacity then the 4005/990.
I like the engine on the 990 more but would i trade my 3320 for my friends 990? Never, the difference is night and day, especially if you're doing loader work ,mowing or plowing snow.
By the way today's microcontrollers have a MTBF (mean time between failures) of 100 years. When is the last time you heard someone say the electronics on their hydro went bad? I've never heard a peep and you can bet the last thing Deere wants is an electronics recall!
Rob
ps:
I'll bet the clutch on a geared box will die long before a hydro ever fails.
