hey Bud, does that rigid bucket with no tipping frame, have enough dump angle with the hydro top link only ??

It is a very simple bucket, i think it could even be cheaper to make a bucket like this, and buy a hydro top link with it, than the Dutch type of buckets with additional tipping frame.
I will keep this in mind when replacing our 3p lift bucket... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

...Tye, i think i should have read your question better... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Nice. And unlike a FEL bucket, you can tilt it to the side.

That looks just like the ones a guy who used to be here made a few years ago. Dang if I can not remember his name though...

Looks pretty cool!

Roughly, how much did it cost? My Bushhog QT loader was $3100 installed.

That bucket is not rigid, I have a hydraulic top link on it, and it will dump past 45 degrees when the 3PH is in the up position.

This is the valve I used. It's one of the three I had, with joysiicks, from the 352 loader. So I put it under the seat and used it for the rear hydraulics.

I have made a tipping bucket on my 16HP tractor with 3PH and it works great. With the 3PH all the way up it will dump the load at almost a vertical angle. The bucket is designed to have the pivot point about 12" from the rear of the bucket which makes it dump when you release the latch. I have moved a lot of dirt and haled fire wood for years. Now I plan on making a loader for my tractor this year.

I plan on making a rear end loader..
We have a front loader on my brother's Deutz D50. i think it weighs about 2000 kg, and has no front wheel drive.
When i lift a wrapped silage bale that is fairly saturated, (it might weigh over 900 kg) the rear end comes off the ground and the 5.50-19 front wheels allmost tear apart under the load.
When i drive through our grassland i get big wheel tracks, and last week, when i drove off the street, into a mud bath it stopped within two feet, and the rear wheels came of the ground, kind of submarine experience when it dived into the mud.

I think when i want to collect wrapped bales in wet conditions, the 16.9-30 duals on the rear of our 5245 will just float on 0.8 bar pressure, without soil or sod damage.
When i want to put a bale in the field where our herd of 15 horses are during winter, it will walk easily through the mud even with a 2wd without duals, because the load is put on the driven axle.
I wont need a powersteering either... That Deutz with FEL is a nightmare for your arms and shoulders, it lacks powersteering..
