I've been looking for 3 point pallet forks for my tractor for some time. There are no local dealers which sell these things.
I've found some online, but the cost of shipping is more than the implement; so I've been reluctant to make the purchase.
I found these forks from Titan, supposedly with free shipping. I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with them and could recommend them.
My tractor's 3 point hitch has a lift capacity of 1,600 pounds. These forks are rated to 1,500 pounds. I would prefer to have the fork's capacity to be greater than the tractor's, but for the total cost I might be willing to consider them.
My main purpose for these forks is to move firewood contained in metal baskets. I have no idea how much they weight, but they once contained 275 gallon plastic tanks.

With a 100lb difference between the rating and your lift capacity you should be fine. They have some margin of safety built in and with the 3pt lift you are not lifting them that high anyway. My skid steer forks are rated for 3k I think and I have gone way over that before without them failing. Not saying that is a good idea but I doubt seriously you will hurt 1500lb forks with a 1600lb rated machine.

I bought an adapter from them that lets me use my Bobcat quick attach forks on my 4410.

I have had no problem with the adapter in the 2-1/2 years I have owned it. The adapter arrived
in good condition with no shipping damage.

Before I got that adapter I was looking at modifying those Bobcat forks so I could use them
with my iMatch hitch on either the 4410 or the TC25 without affecting their original use
on the Bobcat or capacity.

I have the Titan 3pt forks and they work well. No issues to date. I have used them to move pallets with stacked slate.

Have you considered making a set?? I've made several sets, they are very easy to build...

I'm not a welder, but wish I was. It seems as though at least once a month I find myself saying, "dang, I wish I knew how to weld."

Let's see ...

1600 lbs of lift capacity - weight of the forks themselves = what your tractor will lift.

Odds are the forks weight 100+ lbs, so unless your tractor lifts more than the rated capacity, you're within the limits of the forks.

That's your clue it's time to learn. A flux-core wire feed welder is very easy to learn and not too expensive to get into.

Can you recommend a brand or model to start with?

To the OP - I have been using several of their items with good luck. They also have a 10% off going right now. They do have a 3 pt adapter so you can use QA style fork. Might look into this as an option, that way you can use you front folks on the rear.

I ordered the pallet forks I mentioned earlier - I still can't believe they have free shipping for something that large. I guess I'll see when it arrives.
Thanks for the all the advice.

The adapters add length, which decrease lift capacity. Thought about a 3pt to SSQA adapter for the same reason. But between it & my Quick Hitch I'd loose to much lift.

I've only seen pictures of the carryall forks. Notice their just angle iron. Has anyone bent these lifting on anything. I've made a set from 2x 4 tubing but haven't used them yet.

Sign up for a tech school night class and the next day you'll be able to put down an impressive weld. A few more days and you'll understand what you're doing and a few weeks later be capable of welds now thought impossible. Flux core is nice but if you get a gas bottle your welds will look better sooner.

I wasted years trying to figure it out on my own and learned more in the first hour of class than in the prior 10 years of wishing.

My job makes taking any class a schedule challenge, though I've thought of taking a welding class often.
I received the pallet forks today. I am surprised with the short shipping time, and at no extra cost. So far the pallet forks have worked great. I moved all of my baskets of firewood with ease.
The only thing is that I can see a hydraulic top link in my future. I didn't need it, but I can see how it would be more convenient. - not only with the pallet forks, but other attachments as well.

Yep, that's the only downside to 3ph forks is no tilt. Makes uneven ground difficult.

As to weight....275 gal totes is about 36 cubic ft. Right at 1/4 cord. And most hardwoods fall within 3000-400# per cord

Plus keep in mind your 1600 at the 3pto eyes. Those forks stick way out so the will not come close to lifting 1500 lbs

I learned all this the hard way. I was able to pick up a ton of feed with my 3pt pallet forks, but barely. Couldn't even get it up into my feed shed! As noted, the lack of ability to control tilt (I suppose that if you had an hydraulic top link that that would help, but then there's the issue of leverage) is huge. Now then, have my 3pt pallet forks gone to waste? Nope! I quite often just strap them on the loader bucket! I slide them inside the bucket and, with a top link pin installed. wrap a chain around and secure with grab hooks. It's not the most stable setup, but I know how to deal with this. Don't lift as much as with the rear, but because it's WAY more versatile up-front I use them more than I'd ever do at the rear. I've used to haul partially filled IBC totes (this can get a bit scary, with water sloshing around!). Lately I've been hauling around palletized wire crates that I got for storing firewood in (they hold about 1/4 cord of wood). Tractor is only barely able to get them off the ground and move them around. I'm in the process of buying a new, bigger tractor, and this one will have SSQA and a good set 3k lb pallet forks: I need to readily stack, perhaps up to three high, my B7800 has only managed to stack once, and that was with some drier firewood (just wanted to see what it looked like to have stacked crates!).

Rusty, go on and get the hydraulic top link. It will make a world of difference in the ease of use for your forks and other 3 point implements. You will wonder how you did without it. W. Jones

I would like to add rear hydraulics to my tractor so I can use a hydro top link, but the New Holland stuff is so expensive it'll have to wait. I wish I could find aftermarket stuff.

Do you have a front loader on your tractor?
If so...you got hydraulics. Aftermarket stuff is out there an plentiful.....many options. May not fit together lime a glove like OEM stuff, and may require you to make brackets, or mount stuff a little different.....but there are affordable alternatives. I put 3 remotes on the back of my Kubota for under $500.....when the factory option was $2k+.

If you don't have a fel, it can still be done. Just have to find a hydraulic line to tap into, and a place for return. Fel just makes it easier.

There is a link to how I did mine in my signature
