Hello,

Has anyone ever used one of these chippers? If so, what insight can you offer pertaining to their performance and quality.

Best regards,

Sota

I have a Wallenstein chipper. PTO version. Not too many hours on it so far but it works well, it will reduce a huge pile of limbs to a small pile of chips in an hour or so. Usually anything over about 2.5" is firewood but it says it will chip up to 4" so I had to try it. It does as advertised, makes the tractor bark a little. The only thing I ever had a problem with was trying to chip small green willow branches. They just get bent instead of chipped or broken and plug up the chute. One bolt to open it up and unplug it. With the tractor shut off and the key in my pocket.

I currently own a tow behind split fire wood chipper & it is indeed a very solid machine. I have spoken with the designer & the owner up in Ontario Canada & he was a pleasure to talk with. I believe they run a class act business, & I have been very happy with my chipper.

I have a split-fire tow behind splitter. It is very well built, works very well. Also have a Wallenstien tow behind chipper, it is another well build machine and very reliable/effective.
