Hey Rob. I don't want to call it new technology, cause it isn't, but I am starting to see irrigation installs out of the black pex-like product (kinda like what drip lines are made out of). Apparently it is easier to install than the white S-40 and survives freezing and impact better.

Place looks great.

It is absolutely amazing what a bit of water can do for a semi-arid climate.

Keep up the hard work. I really enjoy watching the fruits of your labor.

While this is very true, animals have a much easier time chewing through it also. It's no fun doing the same job twice.

Rob and Loretta - It has been a long time since we have had an update (8 Oct 09) from you guys. That's way tooooooo long for inquiring minds to wait.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year while I'm at it.

Rob has his hands full at this time. He is busy rebuilding the engine in his tractor.

Well then, I know what to expect from Rob the next time we hear from him. I'm sure a very detailed, well versed, engine rebuild thread is to be coming soon. All supported by a very detailed visual aid package!:D Only thing is we might have to look for it in the Jinma section.

Good to hear they're well. I figured they were busy.

Merry Christmas to all as well. Jesus, our savior, is the reason for the season.

Hello all my good friends and before I forget, Merry Christmas to all!!
Wow how time flies when you're having fun.:) I have been a member here going on 5 years now, and it's amazing how many new friends I have ... many whom I've met in person through TBN. Brian is correct that my latest project has turned from working on the pond to rebuilding my Kama tractor engine. For those interested, here is the thread and a couple photos of my project:

Engine Overhaul Kama 554

Although I'm not exactly thrilled about it, but it has to be done.
Plus I have never done an engine overhaul myself so I look at it positively as a chance to learn something new.

But besides that, Loretta and I have been very happy living up here.
We still have the other South lawn to do, like the North one. We've also been working on her garden, having to add a chain link fence with chicken wire on top of it to get it to become about 6 or 7 feet tall. It's to keep the keep the deer out. That is an ongoing project in itself... hahaha.
