Rotary Cutter 4" Rotary Cutters that work with iMatch

I'm shopping for a 4' rotary cutter to use with a JD 1026R. My physical condition requires me to use implements that are compatible with the JD iMatch. Any suggestions from those who have been there?

And,any suggestions for a 4" rotary tiller?

I don't remember seeing any 4' cutters that were QH ready. That said, I managed to convert my 4' BushHog.

Late addition I saw in my travels that I don't have experience with is a King Kutter 4' with Flex hitch. I've seen them iMatch and Quick hitch compatible for as little as $1000 for one with a sheet bolt. Price climbs as you add things like slip clutch.

If you found your dream machine... What did you get? Any pictures?

The LX-4 was, but I don't recommend it. I do recommend the Frontier. Have had it on the 1025 and the 2025. So much easier to remove the blades because the stump jumper stays in place.

The thing about rotary cutters is you shouldn't have a rigid top link hookup. It needs to float. I have a Howse (not sure you can get this brand anymore) and the top link hookup has a slot allowing the top link to float. I got a top link quick hitch adapter and it works pretty slick.

Bought a used King Kutter (TG-48-YK) today. It does hook up to the iMatch. I would like to have a manual for it. Willing to pay for one. I was not able to find one on the web. Kept getting I needed to add Google stuff? I assume the tiller has lost some of the gear oil. Looking to pick up a used Kodiak 4 Ft. brush cutter tomorrow. The newer promotions say the Kodiak is Quick Hitch compatible.

You need the bushings for the imatch hitch to much play on the bottom hook, top also........

I have the bushings. I hooked it up quickly to see the underneath side, and clean it up a bit.

I have one of these king kutters with an offset on my MF GC hooked up via a QH. I've worked the heck out of it and I've been very pleased with it. I think you'll find it to be a great tool!
