You could do that but it is a bad idea. Recognize the heat output is very close to 1/3 that of a 1500w portable heater. That is less than 10% of what a normal heater for a cab tractor would provide. A much better solution is to get one with a heater core to connect to the engine coolant system and have 5 to 10 amp blower for circulation.
Using an electric heater would drain down the battery, likely to burn out the alternator (rated for 40amps) and never provide enough heat to do you much good.
