Not sure how yours is setup. Mine has 2 separate meters and 2 separate CT’S set to read both phases. Mine reads Volts, Amps and frequency

The setup is:
-Power box is plugged in 50 amp generator outlet
-Cable from power box plugged in wall outlet connected to 50 amp
circuit breaker in the panel.
-There is manual interlock kit installed so generator serves whole house

There's no owner manual
Do you have a clamp on ac meter?
I’m guessing it’s only equipped with 1 current donut, and is probably only valid amp and power readings for balanced loads.

If you want to see what it’s measuring, and you do have a clamp on, turn off all breakers except a 240 volt load like an active electric range, and see if the current measurement agrees . Then do the same test using only a 120v circuit on L1, finally another test using only a 120v L2 circuit.
This will let you see what your new unit is actually measuring.

Thank you! I'll try that
