Your place looks a lot like mine. Beautiful desert. I'm getting ready to build a 48 x 60 steel building and finish it out as a 3 bdrm, 2 bath home with oversized garage/shop. I'll start leveling in about 3 weeks, building is ordered and will be delivered in October. I'm planning on bare concrete floors with radiant heating. Can't wait.

Actually my wife and I have been talking about the same thing you are doing except on some property we have in New Mexico. We may even live in this one and rent the house out so we can travel places and someone will hopefully be taking care of it and we will have the shop to come back to. I don't think my tactor will mind sharing a space:rolleyes:

Hired out the siding and it took 4 men 8 days to complete. They said it would take 5 1/2 days. They did a good job but they didn't get paid anymore. Some of the best lesson I learned cost me the most. It had a lot of detail to it. They were 2 roof sheets short so they put a couple different colored ones in temporarily. Should get them next week. Now the work starts inside:eek:

Well, here is a picture of my 750 enjoying her new living space :) and a few of the start on the toilet room. Using recycled wood to stud between the girts. Moved the one cable brace to the inside of the girts space.

So I'm told! Got any spare change lying around? :D

That is one thing I don't have now. It is all in the shop. Thought it better to do it now so I could enjoy it than wait until I am about dead.

Are you going to have a stand alone or a built in magazine rack?
