YES Please do. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif That would be great. I work in a machine shop and would love to create a design that would work with the rear hydraulic option or even the front svc but the rear hydraulic would be better so if a person want to leave there front end loader on the machine they can. Of course I would have to add a directional valve. I should have my mower deck in a week and a half. Cant wait.

I have a 4100 with a 60 mid mount mowing deck and a power dump bagger and a hydraulic lift system on the deck, which is on the john deere site. But john deere does not tell you that it uses up one of your scv port to run it , so now I have to unhook my loader to move the deck. The standard leak rate for most scv valve is about .3 cu in per min which is very little flow, but the volume of the lift cylinder for the full stroke is 1.32cu in. When you raise the deck it will drift down back to the deck stop, so if you have your deck height at 3" and needed to raise it to drive around for more than 5 minutes you have to resit your deckheight adjustment to max.

I assume that you are using 2 of the 4 SCV ports to operate your dump and 1 port for the mower lift?? As far as your mower lift is concerned, Is it a model LVB25010 and did you install it ? I have to go look at a 4110 and see what the big differance is in the rear of the tractor. I thought it was the same as the 4115 except for the HP. Would you still have the same problem if you hooked up the rear hydraulic kit and installed a directional valve? you know, the one with 2 ports on the back? I dont have the part number of it handy. Do you have any pictures of your setup you can email me. I have broadband so send all you want. 4115deereman@charter.net

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I also beleive you can have a 4 port scv in the rear of the tractor but isnt it controlle by the same unit in the front?

Yes that is the right part number. It installs real easy, but in the directions does not tell you how to adjust the links. So the first time I adjusted the links so it would stop on the tow hitch so the deck did not bottom out on the tractor frame. But then the height adjustment did not work(too long). I went back and adjusted it to stop when the deck hit the frame, then all the adjustment work fine.( which is exactly what the mower manual said not to do, but it work great that way.) You can only get dual scv for the front and the one for the rear is a rear joke, all it is are 2 hoses which connect to front scv. I am currently installing a power beyond kit and another direction valves to run the deck lift system. But there is a problem with this because of tank return on the new valve will be over 500 psi when the lift or original scv is loaded, Once I get this fix I will let you know.

Also the leak down problem can be fixed , when I went to advance hydraulics school I presented this problem to the instructor and he said use a pilot operated check valve and a open center valve.

JR,
Here is a LINK to a post where I detailed the install of rear remotes on my 4110 using the PowerBeyond kit.

I thought you might find it usefull...

I had a look at your link on the Power Beyond kit. That looks really nice. I never thought of setting up a dual spool valve to obtain 2 ins and outs. This would work great for the mid belly mower lift and the hydraulic dump collection system!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Because now I have to run the 2 hoses from the hydraulic dump system all the way to the connectors on the right side of the engine and they seem to get in the way a little when using the hydro stat pedals. I will be doing this my-self after I figures out converting the mid-lift kit to fit a 4115. Thanks for the great idea.

Nice install. I think we have the same series valve(1627), I was planning to mount my underneath the left floorboard and remaking the handles. Did you know the power beyond block is the same block that came with your scv valve but the plug (PT13744) is missing and you can order that plug. I showed it to my dealer and they agreed it is the same, so all you need is the plug and fitting and you got the powerbeyond. Back to the valve, can you measure the pressure on the return line.
Because the power beyond is in series with scv and lift (ahead of the lift) so when you load the lift system and lets say the pressure get 1200 psig, the return line (tank port) on the new valve which feed the lift will be 1200psig. I have not found a valve which will go 1000psig on the tank port. Most series valve have 3 ports(supply, p/b & tank) except for the last valve which has 2 port (supply, tank) because the p/b and tank port become one. When you add a new valve you plug the common path and make 3 ports. The new valve will have only two ports but it will be last in the system. In our system the power beyond is not last in the system but the middle and I do not know how to keep the tank port under 500 psig (which is my valve max tank port pressure).

So does this mean I don't have to buy the John Deere BM19290 power beyond kit?? Also can you tell me how the hydraulics of the 4115 work and what power beyond is?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
