430 Loader \"jerky\"

I traded loaders on my brand new 4310. I went from a 420 to a 430. I swapped the loaders myself. and it still doesn't seem right.

It often stops partway up on boom raise, and won't dump from up high. It seems to get better, then not. I checked the Hydro level, at first, it had been low, but its OK now.

Is there a procedure to getting all the air out, and getting it up to speed?

The manual isn't too specific: "Cycle Loader. Check all functions."
Big Help.

Re: 430 Loader \"jerky\"

Mike:
The manual on a Bush Hog loader I had indicated that when first cycling the loader after installation/reinstallation, you should hold the joystick in each of the "full on" positions for awhile after the piston reached the end of its travel to allow the system to clear any air in the lines.

Not sure if Deere loaders work the same way, but might be worth a try.

Hope it works. I have been eyeing that 4310 eHydro/430 FEL combination myself - when/if I am able to upgrade, I might even be tempted to change colors /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
