After a brief wait, my 4310 finally arrived from the dealer yesterday. 4310, 420 FEL, 72" MMM, LX6, R3 tires, ehydro, folding ROPS. What a beautiful green machine she is.
The dealer rep was great, and patiently watched me remove and reattach the MMM on my own after he showed me how to do it himself. The advice you all gave me was right on --- the MMM is pretty easy to take on and off provided you do it on flat concrete (and with lifting the front tires with the FEL). Now I just need to remember the sequence...
I also noticed the "snug fit" between the the FEL and the MMM handle for front attachment that was discussed in a recent thread. The rep concurred that bending the handle out (which he did pre-delivery) is the current high-tech solution for the problem.
After the rep left, the fun really began. I used the FEL to scrape out a 30 foot bed of pachysandra in about 45 minutes. Would have taken all day to remove those **** things by hand. Then I cleared a 10 foot by 10 foot area near the back of the house, and refilled the area in with mulch. Also used the bucket to move two extremely heavy planters from the ground up to a raised patio area. What a piece of cake everything was!
But the fun has ended (temporarily) and I am back at work. Can't wait till the weekend for more seat time, weather permitting.
Thanks again for everybody's help with my newbee buying questions. Pictures will be forthcoming!!!
