4707

I have had mine for a month. Absolutely love it. Super comfortable, fit and finish are excellent. Visio roof is awesome and is steel reinforced.
I bought mine with deluxe cab, 3rd function remote, Visio Roof, 936x self leveling loader, wheel weights and front Fenders( not yet installed)for $45200 (tax exempt) in Pa.
A few pieces of advice:
1.Set the auto RPM setting to 1200+. There isn't much torque below that, so I set mine to 1200 after startup.
2. Set the turn stops in so the turning radius is good.
3. Remember that it will not get full power until it has warmed up.
4. Transmission is super smooth. It actually shifts best using the button on the shifter.

If you have any questions, give me a shout. You are going to love the machine.

Would it be possible for you to post a picture of your loader valve with 3rd function? I want to add it to my tractor and need to know what the setup is.

thanks!

Looking at a 2021 4707, deluxe cab visio roofweights etc. Trying to decide on whether to stick with the Powershuttle or try the new Dyna 2. Anyone heard anything about this. The press releases make it sound different than a Dyna 4 or Dyna 6 - more like just a gear splitter.

Agreed^^^. I tested a bunch: Case 75c, NH T4.75, Kubota m7060, Mahindra 6075, Kioti Rx7320, and John Deere 5075e. The Massey Ferguson 4707 was the clear winner.
Hey Bigpuddie ! We have a new member here on TBN who needs some info on rear width widest setting measurements & how they perform on hillside & he posted a thread here on TBN & his site name is CoolMtnTrails ,So If You or another member could help him out please do thanks! & I believe the thread is titled Massey 4700 width.

Ah, those were the days. When tractors were on dealers lots and dealers would deal. That same tractor three years later will now set you back 55,000 plus and you may get one, or not, in 4-5 months! This too will change but for now the reality has been altered

Mine looks totally different.
You probably got your third function factory installed. I just said I wanted it included in the deal but did not know enough to know the difference between after market and factory and assumed or I would have insisted on OE. I like the looks of the original joy stick muck better. But hey I love my comfortable tractor so no big deal.

Also I did not get a notification you replied to this thread. All my boxes are checked in settings. I get weekly emails on various new topics just not specific threads. So Bigpuddie probably is not either, you might have to PM him.

Wobblin, I'm curious. Is your new 4707 made in Mexico or China?
Mine was earlier China production and was very well made.
Agco apparently invested a lot in the production facility for this model, China at least was very high tech.

Honestly, I don't know. I looked around on the tractor and I haven't found anywhere that says where it's built. The stickers/tags on the back of the cab don't even say. The only things I saw were a tag on the bucket "Made in china," and the loader "Made in Sweden." Nothing else. Part of me doesn't want to know any more. The dealer supposedly didn't know either (or he was being smart by not telling me).

One thing I still don't understand is the 3pt hitch controls in the cab. Every other tractor I've ever used had a lever that lifted or lowered the hitch arms. On this tractor, you've got the little plastic tab that you move, but I guess you're also supposed to turn the "draft control" knob on the side pillar. It's a little more complex than I'm used to and so far I'm not a fan.

Overall this is a very nice tractor and I'm very happy with it. I have some tasks in the yard and on the farm that necessitate a tractor this size.

wobblin, somewhere there should be a mfg plaque on the tractor, just curious.
Shouldn't make any difference, probably safer in the world economy today to have it made in Mexico.
I admit I had the same confusion with the three point/draft hitch controls. I was constantly fiddling with it.
The lift on the FEL with a grapple was awesome, felt like double the lift of my old Kubota 5740 and faster acting also.
Just wish I had ordered the self leveling bucket since I had an osha man lift attachment I used to trim a lot of tall trees on the farm.
And with the glass window in the roof, I could actually see what was going on.

Well, I did it. Got me a 4707.
I got mine in August about 80hrs so far and it’s been a great little tractor. You may check the set screw on the egr actuator and make sure it’s tight. That’s been my only problem it fell off causing some egr codes.D9D968F2-703A-4C48-97C6-34F68BF6C94B.jpeg

Mine is made in Brazil. I could have sworn it was on the back of the cab. The 3 point is an electronic over hydraulic. I wish it had the switch to raise and lower and not have to mess with the depth control like the big tractors. It’s an opinion that can be added but I’m not going to spend the money for it just bush hogging.

my mistake, it was Brazil not Mexico. I still found the quality control very high.
My small Massey dealer's ability to diagnose and fix things were less successful.

11 hours on it so far. Seems to be a high quality machine. Handsome tractor too. Cab is spacious. Tilt and telescopic steering column is nice. Still think they could do a little better job on designing nooks and crannies for storage inside the cab, although I do realize this is a little nit-picky. Cell phone holder would be nice. Guess I'll have to get one from another source.

Not sure how the 900x loaders are, but this FL3615 is very smooth. It is very similar in smoothness to our CAT 262 skid steer, which is saying something.

Still aren't used to the 3pt hitch arm controls. I like simplicity and this seems to be too complicated to use. Guess there's a learning curve.

Love this tractor so far. Absolutely love it. Massey hit a home run with the 4700 series (especially the 4707). My local dealer has three or four on his lot right now. They are selling them almost as fast as they can get them.

I'm curious about the glass roof for anyone who has bought one in the last six months.
Are the big steel protection grates over the glass still fixed, or have they put them on a hinge?
Very hard to clean that glass the way mine was three years ago.

   / 4707 #379
Not sure about the steel grate. I'll check it out.

Noticed another tag on the tractor. This one is on the back side of the front axle and it says "Made in France." So, I guess the front axle is made there.

Loader: Sweden
Bucket: china
Front axle: France
