5' fel bucket, addes hooks and teeth

I got a older bucket ( free) added 1/2" 2 x 2 angle to the top and welded on hooks replaced side cut plates with 3/8", added 1/4" plate in between ribs bottom of bucket. welded on shanks with fabco pin on teeth

thanks all and yes i did too many project in a short time, i am burnt out ( no pun intended ) i grabbed up the bucket it was to be thrown out due to wear on the bottom thats why i beefed it up with the 1/4" plates

Within hours of getting my present little tractor, I voided my warranty when I welded 2-inch angle across the top of the FEL to strengthen it, and to have something sturdy enough to hold hooks.

I can't imagine a bucket without teeth. I move a heck of a lot of snow in the winter -- the teeth are invaluable for cracking ice a few days after the snow is cleared, melted, and refrozen. I move a lot of mulch, stone, and junk. The teeth don't get in the way. I also rip a lot of small roots out of the ground. There is no way I could do it without the tooth bar. Extra plating on the sides and bottom are invaluable.

Great job Spo -- and great photos. Everybody should do what you did if they have a small tractor and FEL that is used for a zillion projects.

This is exactly why I keep my Loader Buddy on my tractor all the time.
