Kubota Bx2230
Ok, I went to my local Kubota dealer and purchased the filters and fluids for the 50 hours service on my Bx2230. They also said I should be a new set of O rings for the transmission stainer filter so I did. I thought I would stick with the name brand stuff for the first service.

I was wondering if anyone has any pointers or problems that they have run into when they first serviced their machines. I am not the greatest at mechanical things but I usually get by. I heard getting at the strainer can be challenging and getting it back in. Any one out there have any stories?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, you may need those o-rings. At least I think it's a good idea to have them in case you damage the originals. However, I bought them for my B7100 and didn't need them, so I didn't even ask about them for my B2710. I was just careful in pulling the strainers out, cleaning, and replacing them with the original o-rings.

You didn't buy that Kubota from the dealer across from Turtle Creek, did you?

I know that is a question and not an answer. I don't have strainers on my 5030. I did have them on my previous smaller units, though. I never ripped one when pulling the strainers so I never bought any. I believe they are stock Buna N "O" rings available at any hardware store.
