Got two more this morning at 3:20 and 3:22 AM, eastern time. Almost seems to behave something like a runtime error. It seems like most of the occurances for me are when it seems to be taking a long time to process a request. This time I was doing a search that would yield a high volume of results. After a certain amount of time waiting the error occured. Of course usually it does not take very long to get search results either.
Just an observation, probably nothing to do with it.

If you're not having any success at solving these let me know -- I can fix it pretty quickly.

One thing I notice is that many of these are happening on the half hour. e.g. 9:30, 11:30, etc. Do you have any scheduled jobs/tasks that run on the half hour which might be hitting the server hard?

My guess is these problems are caused by database delays. Anything in the database or server logs? How about the forum logs?

Do you see anything indicating google or some other spider is indexing the site when these errors happen? I've seen google load 50 pages per second. If that's the case here, there are things you can do to tell google to behave.
