Well,moss,why would I want to do it myself,several reasons,.Its just easier for me.I know when I can be here to do it,don't have to deal with being at home when they come,know its done right,[you know there are mecanics and than there are mecinics,that guy who did yours might just be one of THOSE mecinics],etc. And in any case every body thinks different bout most things,if you wanted to do it or didn't want to,that would be up to you.
Iron horse,my owners manual says nothing like the page you got,doesn't even address it. Thats what I was saying,if dealer had to do it,something like the system described in that last thing you sent,would have to be in place,it ain't in place over here across the big water.
So,in the land down under maybe thats the case,but not in this country,on kiotis anyways.
Question for other tractor brand owners,[like p.t. and kubota],does your manual or anyother paper work you got say this like the sheet that iron horse sent?
And,I wouldn't describe changing the oils and filters as having mechanical ability,guess you need some common sense to do it, but you don't need to be a mecinic.
