Well the seal and gasket came in on Saturday, had farm chores to do but got around to putting the seal in the carrier housing and going with my old shaft assembly. My shaft was 30 7/8 so it was longer than the one I bought on E Pay which was also 1 1/8 spline. So in the long run for $33.00 for the shaft assembly with shipping and the $10.00 for the seal and gasket with shipping It doesn't have any more leaks.
Although I did see a little bit of seepage at the last 2 spark plugs. I can't tell if it is gas or oil just yet but will look into it when more of the spring time chores are done.
Thanx to all with all the advise and information.
Great people on a great site.
Mike.
