If you want to save time get a commercial ZTR. I went from a 72" 3PH deck on the tractor to a 60" ZTR and I cut in about about 1/4 the time.

With a 2 foot cutting difference what an accomplishment. Get a 7 foot ZT or a 5 foot finish mower and see which is faster.
I know for a FACT my 35HP, 72" zero turn will out mow my tractor with 84" rear finish mower by a good bit on the same lawn.Interesting stuff here. Going by what's been posted, I could use Mike's ZT and mow at the rate of 7-1/2 minutes per acre. Todd reports something that sounds like something I'd expect. And I'm not sure why the extra 2' of width matters so much if the zeros can mow 4X as fast![]()
